The plot

Tor is a young man whose life is plagued by tragedy. Following the
sudden and suspicious death of his mother, he becomes convinced that his
debt-ridden, alcoholic father and violently abusive uncle are
responsible. Consumed by a desperate rage for revenge, Tor turns to a
local master sorcerer named Tian.
Tian agrees to grant him the forbidden powers of black magic to punish
those responsible, but it comes with a terrible price: Tor must commit
to becoming the next shaman.
Soon after the deal is made, Tor's father and uncle die in sudden, fatal
"accidents". However, Tor quickly realizes he is trapped in a terrifying
cycle. As he descends into the shadow world of the occult, he begins
seeing the spirits of the dead, including one relentless female entity
that refuses to leave him. To make matters worse, the dark arts carry a
fatal curse—Tor will become its next victim unless he passes the curse
onto another innocent, unsuspecting soul. Meanwhile, his girlfriend,
Mali, desperately urges him to turn away from the darkness and use his
gifts to help others instead
